Public Projects

Contract I: Water infrastructure improvements include construction of a new 10-inch water line and appurtenances to connect the existing water system and a service meter and valve vault to serve the fishery. Contract II: Water infrastructure improvement includes upgrades at three existing water pump stations. Contract III: Sewer infrastructure improvements include construction of a new sewage lift station to serve the new fishery, a new underground stormwater detention system, a new 6-inch force main and appurtenances to connect the new lift station to an existing influent lift station which conveys sewage to the existing sewage treatment plant, and upgrades at the existing influent lift station.

The project is generally described as the demolition of five (5) derelict buildings on Catawba Hospital Campus, to include hazardous material removal and disposal.

CONTRACT NO. 6: WVIJDC ELIGIBLE will consist of will consist of a waterline extension in the Mary Branch area including, but not limited to, approximately 15,000 LF of 8-inch waterline; 3,500 LF of 6-inch waterline; 4,000 LF of 2-inch waterline, valves, hydrants, and appurtenances.

This project consists of CONTRACT NO. 1 – (RUS/ARC ELIGIBLE) will consist of approximately 12,540 L.F. of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer, 496 L.F. of 8-inch DIP gravity sewer, 1,415 L.F. of 6-inch service connection lines, 391 L.F. of 4-inch service connection lines, 1,353 L.F. of 2-inch force main, valves, service lines, meter settings, one duplex grinder pump station, and all appurtenances. Achieving substantial completion within 300 days following the issuance of notice to proceed.

This project consists of the construction of approximately 1,800 linear feet of 14-inch gravity sewer, 600 linear feet of 10-inch gravity sewer, 17,000 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer, manholes, sewer service connections, and all related appurtenances.

This project consists of the replacement of multiple electrical panels, Motor Control Center, starters, and transformer at the Wise County Water Treatment Plant located in Carfax, VA

Existing Water System Renovations for the Town of Pineville will be upgraded as follows: new radio read meters for all customers, New trailer and mini excavator, the repair or replace approximately 25 fire hydrants, install 4 master meters for water accountability, and the replacement of existing 6” line with new 10” line from downtown Pineville toward booster station site on WV Rt 97.

This project consists of building a soldier pile retaining wall on the bank of War Creek immediately south of the War Fire Department building to replace the wall destroyed by the July 12, 2022 flood.

This project consists of the Pre-Cast Box culvert installation approximately 21 foot span over War Creek in Warriormine, WV to replace pre-existing timber deck bridge structure at Warriormine Post Office that was washed away during 2022 flood event.

This project consists of a prefabricated pedestrian bridge at the Warriormine City Park that was washed away during a 2022 flood event.
