Pocahontas Waterline Replacement Project for the Tazewell County PSA

This project consists of the replacement of existing waterlines in the Yards, Nemours, and Wolfe communities in Mercer County, West Virginia. In addition, the water lines will be upgraded to allow for the installation of fire hydrants. The Project consists of constructing: CONTRACT NO. 1 – will consist of approximately 12,750 L.F. of 8-inch water main, 13,700 L.F. of 6-inch water main, 3,900 L.F. of 2-inch water main, 3,000 L.F. of service lines, 104 Meters and Settings, 100 Service reconnections, 4 Service relocations, valves, hydrants, and all appurtenances. CONTRACT NO. 2 – will consist of approximately 8,800 L.F. of 8-inch water main, 11,300 L.F. of 6-inch water main, 8,600 L.F. of 4-inch water main, 4,600 L.F. of 2-inch water main, 3,300 L.F. of service lines, 49 Meters and Settings, 47 Service reconnections, 2 Service relocations, bridge modifications, valves, hydrants, and all appurtenances. CONTRACT NO. 3 – will consist of either the rehabilitation or replacement of a 250,000-gallon water storage tank (Yards Storage Tank) and all appurtenances. CONTRACT NO. 4 – will consist of either the rehabilitation or replacement of a 225,000-gallon water storage tank (Shop Hollow Storage Tank) and all appurtenances.
